PDF files converted to HTML

Hello everyone,
I am on XP and I've noticed that all my ADOBE files saved on my PC are now in HTML and when I try to open them, a window asks me if I want to make MOZILLA my default browser (currently I am using Chrome).
When I want to save files in Adobe, the only option is to save as Mozilla HTML.
Can you explain to me how files can turn into HTML and especially how I can convert them back to ADOBE?

Right-click on a pdf file
Choose --> open with
Select a program
Choose adobe reader
Check --> always use this program for this file type
Apply and OK.

Hello, thank you for the response, but my problem is that all my PDF files have been converted to HTML and when, for example, I want to save a file on my banking site, even if it appears as a PDF, at the time of saving I can only choose "Mozilla HTML".
I updated MOZILLA (two days ago) and I think this update may have caused these changes. But thank you anyway for the response. -
