Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I’m not sure if I chose the right forum, but I hope you can answer my question.

So I have a desktop computer that contains 4GB, how much does that give in GB?

Thank you, have a pleasant afternoon.

    Hello,

Before Brexit, 4 G0 (gigaoctet) equals 4 GB (gigabyte)... Indeed, byte is the English word for octet

After Brexit, does anyone know what it will become ;-)

Except that it is not the British who impose the rules, but Uncle Sam.

Hmm, BoJo and Don, it's kind of the same fight, isn't it? [Aren't we going a bit off-topic?..]

    Hi

Actually, it's not GO but Go (Gigaoctet)

It's the same as GB (Gigabyte) which should not be confused with Gb (Gigabit)

    So Go = GB
