Hello,
I have been having a little issue with my Asus R556UF laptop lately that has been bothering me.
When I'm on battery, the screen starts to flicker when I reach about 40% battery, making the laptop unusable until it's plugged in or charged again.
My old battery was very worn out (70% wear), I replaced it, thinking that might be the issue, but the problem persists.
I updated my graphics card, just in case, even though I knew perfectly well that the problem didn't come from there (the issue occurs on Windows, Linux, and when the laptop starts).
So I duplicated my screen to my TV to see if the problem was with the video card or my screen, and there was no issue on the TV, which leads me to suspect a problem with the screen itself.
I have two questions: if it is indeed a screen issue, how come the problem doesn't occur when I'm plugged into the power?
And on which website can I find a screen (not too expensive)?
(Second part of the question) since I couldn't find the exact screen on Amazon and Cdiscount, are all screens compatible as long as the connector is on the right side?
Thank you in advance for your feedback and happy new year to you!

can you tell me the steps to restore the power options to their default values, please?
How is it possible that this changes? By downloading files?
Thank you for your help.
