Mi 9: No access to status bar with apps

Hello,

I have a Xiaomi Mi 9 for 15 days and I don't have access to the status bar (wifi, mobile data, Bluetooth, brightness...) when I am on applications, which is quite annoying...
I have a friend who has the same phone and he just needs to swipe down from the top to bring up the status bar. For me, it works when I'm on the home screen but not on the applications...

Hello,
I have the same issue as you with my Mi 9T Pro...
It seems that when I first got the phone, it worked.
I must have checked a box I shouldn't have in the settings, but I can't find anywhere how to reactivate the status bar in games...

Hello,
I finally found a solution!
The problem was that the case covered 5mm of the screen and that on applications you need to start from the very top of the screen to activate the status bar.
I removed my case and it worked.
In the settings, regarding notch management, you can hide the notch and move down the status bar, which solved my problem. So I can now activate the status bar on the applications with my case.
