Capitalization at the Beginning of a Sentence

Hello forum,

I've been using Thunderbird for years. I upgraded to version 68.3.0 (64-bit) and everything works, but....
I was hoping to be able to use again a very handy add-on that automatically capitalized the first letter of a sentence, which I had ended up disabling because it had been incompatible for several versions.

I wonder if there's something similar; the problem is that I don't speak a word of English, which makes installations in this language difficult, unless given precise guidance.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    According to the description (in English) of the module that Dubcek is proposing, it seems to match exactly what you want but...

    The update of the add-ons depends on the availability and goodwill of their author...

    Hello Majoroma,

    What was the name of that add-on?

    All I found is an add-on called Grammar checker. It doesn’t automatically correct the capitalization error at the beginning of a sentence but highlights grammar mistakes including this one when you click on "Grammar" in the mail writing options.

    Unfortunately, for quite some time this module has been reported like this by Mozilla "this module is no longer compatible, we do not know when it will be updated or even if it will be"
    So I deleted it.

    First of all: Thank you!

    I don't think it's that one: first of all, I don't recognize the logo and secondly, there are a lot of explanations in English, and as I said earlier, I don't speak it at all.

    However, if there could be a tutorial in French, I can try; my knowledge allows me to recognize next and OK ;-)
    Do you know this module? Does it indeed automatically capitalize the first letter of each sentence? I don't need more than that.
    What is certain is that I kept the other one long after version 3 because I've been using Thunderbird for at least 15 years and I do every update.

      We have to wait
      I went back to Version 60.9.1 this morning
