I'm also waiting because I bought the Kidicom Max a week ago and I'm having the same maintenance issue. It's been a week already. I saw in the comments that it should be restored by the end of the week, I hope so because I bought it online, so getting a refund is a hassle. We are in the same situation since December 6th with the console we bought for our daughter.
Personally, I have never seen such a long maintenance period and we even decided to return the kiddicom to the store to buy a regular tablet.
It's not normal to keep people waiting so long with only the message when you log in: "server under maintenance, please come back later."
This is not serious, especially when the price of the device is equivalent to regular tablets, which do not have these kinds of problems right out of the gift wrap and when your child constantly asks you why it doesn't work!
The answer is simple, it doesn't work because at Vtech they are not serious!
