Hello,
I have a Grundig TV that I've had for quite a while. When I turn it on, I have sound but no picture. So I turn it off and on several times, and eventually it works correctly with a good image and perfect sound.
I've already done several power resets, but nothing changes.
I have a decoder and I changed the HDMI cable thinking that the problem might come from that, but no.
I tried starting it with nothing connected to it, and I still get a black screen.
It takes me about 10 minutes to get an image.
Do you know what this could be due to?
Thank you for your reply.

It's mostly when it's cold that I want to turn on my TV in the morning or at the end of the day. I admit I have never tried turning it off after a long period of use and turning it back on right away.
As for disassembling it, I'm not very handy. So that will be complicated.
In your opinion, could this be a problem that could cost me a lot? If a technician takes care of it. I know you can't tell me exactly what it is from a distance.

- The cost: it will depend on the repairman you deal with. Some only work on these TVs, but the faults are not easy to detect. It could be a faulty component or just a simple soldering job, but you still need to know where.
- Asking for a quote is doable ;-)

Try it and see.
