Hello, on my WF-3620 printer I have a message saying "Insert Paper Tray Correctly ..." which I am doing, but I can't clear the error. Could there be a defective part? What should I check?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I have the same problem with the same printer. I haven't found any solutions because apparently we are the only two who have had it... Have you found a solution since then?

Hello, I solved the problem... Actually, while jostling the drawer, I broke the support for the "drawer open" sensor located at the back left. The contact had fallen and remained permanently open, which is why the fault was reported since it couldn't detect the paper tray.
You need to dismantle the casing from underneath and put tape on this switch to keep it closed permanently. You should definitely avoid opening the drawer while printing, and that’s it...

Hello PierreS42220,

my WF-3620 printer also has the error "Insert Paper Tray Correctly,"

I followed your instructions for a "temporary repair," by flipping the printer over, and dismantling the "case," I found a broken piece of plastic indeed at the back left on a part that I'm not sure if it's the sensor you're talking about, so I'm hesitant to put tape on it since there is a connection soldering right next to it...

Thanks, Sabrina
