Hello,
In order to make video edits, when I open an MP4 video from a HUAWEI P20 mobile, I have two problems:
1) during playback, the image is choppy with pauses, whereas I have no issues when I open videos from a GO PRO camera or a GEYE 500.
2) for one video, the image is presented horizontally instead of vertically, but I've seen that it's possible to rotate it.
And the result is the same as the original.
For the project settings, I have specified:
resolution Full HD 1920x1080px 16:9 (corresponding to the frame size),
frame rate: 29.970 (noting that the rates of the videos in question are slightly lower, between 29.5 and 29.8),
audio frequency: 48000.
Thank you in advance for your clarifications.
Sylvain

Hello,
Do you read these files without any issue with any player before adding them to VSCD?
Is the video choppy in the preview or after exporting it from your project?
If it’s in the preview, it's not a big deal, although it might be annoying as long as the video is smooth when exported.
It could possibly be explained by your hardware configuration being too limited... but I have my doubts since GoPro files work fine...
On the other hand, if you are using the free version, have you disabled hardware acceleration for encoding?
Best regards
