Good evening,
If I'm not mistaken, it's free...

I wasn't too sure, since Wikipedia listed it as a freemium... At best, if I get it, I'll see!
That said, while continuing my research for an Android emulator, I also came across this article:
https://airmore.com/fr/alternatives-a-bluestacks.html
... An article that doesn't really promote it too much, after all.
But it raises a question for me (who doesn't really know much about software, after all):
To use an Android emulator and be able to run applications on it, do I have to own a smartphone?
Because I don't have one, but I would like to be able to use certain applications and websites that only want to offer their services in the form of an application! (Which really bothers me, by the way...).
Would you know about this?
Does this mean that we do not need to "clone" our phone in the application to be able to use an interface like on a smartphone?
Because I don't remember the name in the article I showed, but the article talked about a "mirror" function for one of those software and it seemed to say that you needed to mirror your phone beforehand, to clone it in the application, to be able to use the interface thus created like a normal smartphone.
So it doesn't work like that, does it?
If I download any of the mentioned software (including Bluestacks) on my Windows PC, I could use it even without cloning the interface of a smartphone into it but it will still work like a smartphone?
Thank you very much for your future response.
BlueStacks creates a new phone for you (let's put it that way)
This allows you to install any applications you want, and they are independent of your smartphone.
You use your computer's connection as an internet network
I've never really used the mirror function and I don’t know its usefulness....
You don’t need to “clone”, it’s like having a tablet, you just need to enter your Gmail address that you use on your phone in order to retrieve your game progress, you will need to install your games on it and then you’ll be able to play without any problems from your computer via the emulator.
