Hello,
For the past few days, when I go to a website, about 2 out of 3 times the page doesn't load and my browser indicates a secure connection failure. The exact name of the error is PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR.
After some research, I found that one possible cause could be a wrong system clock setting, but that's not it. Many people have the same problem, but I haven’t found anything regarding the PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR error.
It doesn't prevent me from browsing the Internet, but sometimes I have to refresh the page a good ten times before it works.
I am currently using version 70.0 of Firefox.
And I've always had a connection problem; it suddenly drops out without any apparent reason.
I don’t know if it's related, but my WiFi dongle is plugged into two rather strange ports, one of which is defective. According to a computer-savvy friend, it shouldn’t have any impact.
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
Your error code has nothing to do with your PC's clock.
Fix the affected web browsers with the following issues:
and if that doesn't help, in a new tab, go to about:profiles
Create a new profile and see how it works with that.
If you are on Windows 10, uninstall your antivirus and keep Windows Defender.

I've tried all my browsers and another computer (even from my phone), and it only doesn't work from my computer.
I've tried the SSL method, checked the firewall and my antivirus, repaired my browser... I've tested quite a few things and it's driving me crazy!!
Do you have any idea? It's a HTTPS site.
Oh, and I've also tested by disabling my antivirus and your solution of creating another profile.
I think there is a bug with the profile with this update 70.
I fixed Firefox, and I'll let you know if I still have the problem after a few hours of use.
