PC is very slow online due to the processor!!! Solved

Question

Hello, for some time now my PC has been very slow when browsing the net. I thought the internet was slow, so I switched to fiber, but there is still a problem with slowness. We found that the problem comes from my computer, so I bought remote support to repair my PC because I tried everything to clean and wipe my PC but in vain. And the gentleman told me that my PC has a weak processor and I need to replace it and buy another computer. Is it true that there is a relation? Note that I have the ASUS X552E / memory 8G / OS WIN / HDD 1TB / AMD DUAL CORE e1-2100 1.0 GHz. If I really need to change the PC, is a desktop PC better and cheaper than a laptop? If so, which brand can help me surf the net and enjoy fiber? Thanks in advance for your response.

"Is a laptop or a desktop better to enjoy 1G/s"  It's theory, not sure that even with fiber you have that speed.  You can't measure your real fiber speed with your PC because it blocks at 100. In the end we only know that your PC is weak, but since you're not sure whether it's always been slow or if it's recent, we also don't know if a virus or something else is responsible. (in case it happened "suddenly")  Price/performance ratio / At the same price, a desktop will be more powerful than a laptop.  logic you don't pay for the fact that it's small, with a battery and portable ... But less practical to move ;-)  ----------- Possible without purchasing to consider:  > analyze your PC and check that there are no issues or fix them if there are. Lighten up the operation by disabling possible software running in the background. Updates in progress that would slow it down. Etc ... But if it's the PC's own specifications that correspond to your idea of slowness, we risk doing it without noticeable improvement in the end. If it suited you well before and not anymore, it's likely a functioning issue to look at.

Hello,  We should verify the theoretical maximum speed of the network chipset. If it is 100 Mb/s, which is equivalent to about 12.5 MB/s.

Because the majority of scams are those that sell you very expensive, useless software and invent fake problems for you. (and sometimes expensive subscriptions too)  Your PC can only connect to: > Wi‑Fi 150 Mbps > wired network 10/100 Mbps At most, so your 86 if on wifi, may be normal. Try by cable, plugged into your box, you should be close to 100.  Otherwise yes, your PC with a 1 GHz processor is very weak, really entry‑level. That means the PC isn’t very fast but not only on the internet, on everything.  "for some time now my PC is very slow when browsing the net" Your PC was able to get by before, right ? If it has become slow all of a sudden it isn’t a hardware issue, it hasn’t changed that side.  Problem on a specific site ? Just when you download something ? etc ... There wasn’t a driver to install, so there shouldn’t have been one. 
The adapter should give all your box’s throughput to the PC (not limited to 100).

You didn’t give me the test results.

In parallel with the other checks, run this scan.  To check your computer for potential infections and to get a general overview of the system:  Follow the FRST tutorial https://www.malekal.com/tutoriel-farbar-recovery-scan-tool-frst/#Telecharger_FRST ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).  In short Download and run the FRST scan, (remember to put it on your desktop and checked Shortcut) Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the analysis is complete.  Three FRST reports will be generated: FRST.txt Shortcut. Additionnal.txt  Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ Note that each sent report generates a link to access it. Carefully copy these links (so 3) and provide them here in your reply so that we can review them.  This may be scary, but it’s quick and simple. Depending on what it shows, you will subsequently get a fix to clean up the PC. There is indeed something wrong somewhere, even if the PC is fairly basic, it doesn’t explain everything.
