Hello,
During the connection of my PC with my Garmin GPS, due to its insufficient battery, the following error appeared. The PC no longer recognizes the GPS and a message appears: "Device not recognized by Windows: The last connected device has malfunctioned. It may be damaged?"
The problem therefore concerns the GPS and any manipulations regarding the PC are useless since the connection is no longer established.
What can I do?
Thanks to everyone
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 77.0.3865.90

Hello,
try this: full reset.
Turn off the device and disconnect it from any power source.
Press and hold the bottom right corner of the screen.
Turn the device back on while still holding the bottom right corner of the screen.
Release your finger from the screen when the message appears asking if you really want to erase all user data.
(This message may appear in English)...
What follows is not very complicated, but it's important to be methodical.
In the GPS menu, go to volume, and once on this page, press your finger on the top right side of the screen.
The (factory settings) menu will appear in English.
(((((Be careful of incorrect operations on this page)))))...
Scroll through the menu and select (MPT settings), and once this is done, in this new menu select (mass storage).
And don't forget to save this choice.
Also, on some Garmin GPS devices, depending on the models, the display may be modified; for example, instead of seeing (MPT settings) on the screen, it
might show (configuration and settings), so click on that and then the (MPT settings) will appear, and you will just need to confirm (mass storage).
Wishing you good reception, FREMOR.

The case shown above is only valid for a certain number of devices...
In particular for GPS devices intended for cars and heavy goods vehicles.
