Hello,

I just moved into a place where the TV comes through a satellite dish with a sedea 6550 decoder.
I have a lot of channels, but they're all in English! How can I get French channels?
I am desperate.

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 12.1.2

    Hello,
Is there a rooftop antenna on this house?

Is it a professional who is supposed to come to adjust the satellite dish, I imagine? Or can I do it?
No, there’s no rooftop antenna on the house.

It's relatively easy to put one in the attic (aerial).

    Hello,
    But also:
For the orientation of the dish, use this site:
    https://www.dishpointer.com/
-Enter your complete address on the left
-Select 5° West (Eutelsat 5) from the list on the right
-Click on “Search!” next to your address,
-Zoom in on the map with the + button to clearly locate your house
-Place the target at the location of your dish by clicking and dragging, and use a landmark for orientation (tree, house), first in direction then in elevation.
At the bottom right of the map, you have the elevation, azimuth, and rotation direction in degrees of the head in its collar (cross-polarization adjustment); the last line “LNB Skew” is very important.
Also use the decoder's bar graphs by communicating with someone in front of the screen by phone to fine-tune the adjustment, which should ideally be done with a satellite pointer.

Are you in an English-speaking country?

No, I am in France. In the 87. But the previous owners were English, so they set up the box to block the English channels. Since they finished the work in the barn that they turned into a house. They rented out the other one. And I am in this house.

Hello everyone, I have more or less the same problem except that I have a rake
Everything was working fine until the day the screen went black, so I'm searching for channels and all the ITV or BBC channels are gone
    Can you enlighten me?
    Thank you in advance
