I'm encountering a small problem since I reinstalled Windows 10 on my laptop.
When I close the lid, it shuts down instead of going into sleep mode; this is a problem when I need to close it in a hurry and want to continue my work when I open it back up.
I want to specify just in case that:
-the power options for closing the lid are set to "hibernate"
-I have updated all the drivers for the PC and installed the latest version of the BIOS for it
-executed the command "powercfg -h on"
-my PC is an ASUS Vivobook S400CA
Despite all this, the problem persists
ALEEEEED
(thank you in advance)

I see your problem (I had the same one). If the normal sleep option does not appear, I recommend updating your graphics card drivers. In Device Manager, expand the display adapters folder, right-click on your graphics card and select update driver, then click on the first option for automatic search. After updating the driver (if possible), restart your computer, and the sleep option should normally have returned. If the method with Device Manager does not work, you can download an update assistant provided by your graphics card manufacturer:
AMD: https://www.amd.com/fr/support
at the bottom of the page you will find "Automatic detection and installation of Radeon™ Graphics drivers for Windows©" and you can download it.
Nvidia: https://www.nvidia.fr/Download/index.aspx?lang=fr
Select the model of your graphics card
Intel: https://www.intel.fr/content/www/fr/fr/support/detect.html
Download and run the program.

Hello,
In the power options, instead of putting the computer into hibernation, select normal sleep mode. Putting it into hibernation won’t consume battery anymore, but it will empty the RAM. To quickly wake it up and get back to your work, it needs to be "stored" in the RAM, which must be powered --> standard sleep mode. I hope this helps you.

Thank you for the lightning-fast response, but the normal sleep option doesn't appear anywhere
not even on the power button in the Windows menu.

I was really starting to despair, and apparently nobody on the internet is offering this solution.
Anyway, thank you, have a great day.
