If the Haier brand is not listed in the provided list, this remote control will not be able to operate the television of that brand.

finding a code for a universal remote can often be a real headache, assuming you even have the right model for the device you want to pair it with, especially for brands/models that are not widely distributed.
furthermore, if you change your TV due to a malfunction, for example, changing the code to sync the remote with the new TV will be even trickier! It’s clearly indicated on the paper to keep the manual for future use, but very few people find it years later when needed.
there are also brands with responsive customer service: for example, Logitech (Harmony or another model)
yet, you often find replacement remotes online that have exactly the same functions as the original remote and don’t require any code to be entered! And for not much more money.
honestly, a little research before buying can save you a lot of disappointment!
