Hello,
So here's the thing, I've been having a problem since last night.
I want to use my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet that hasn't been turned on for a while. I plug it in to charge, the battery icon appears on the screen showing it's charging. Then, 2 hours later I try to use it and the battery hasn't charged, I plug it back in, turn it on, and see that it remains at 0% charge. It shuts down almost immediately and brings me back to the charging lock screen...
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Thanks in advance
Configuration: Android / SamsungBrowser 9.4

Hello,
Any ideas about the problem?
It's simple, your battery is no longer charging, so you change the battery.

Hello,
Is it possible for you to use a charging cable or charger that is not from Samsung? The problem could be coming from that?
However, you can test it with an iPhone charger with a Samsung MHL USB cable; it should charge your Galaxy Tab 3. (Testing it right now with mine). And also with a genuine Samsung charger and cable, it should charge, of course :)
I don't know why, but some cables or chargers do not work with this tablet; there must be some driver or some kind of chip or wiring difference in a generic cable or charger compared to the ones from Samsung or Apple.
My TAB 3 had a torn MHL cable inside, which meant that once the battery was drained, it was impossible to recharge it. So I bought a new cable, put it back in place, but that wasn't enough for it to restart. I had to solder two wires to the + and - terminals inside the tablet and charge it a little with a stabilized power supply at 4V-4.2V until it started. The original charger will take over afterwards. But fortunately, this is not your case :)
