Issue with the handset

Hello,

I just purchased a cordless landline phone from AEG, model Voxtel D135.
When I make a call or receive one, my interlocutor can hear me, but I can't hear them.
I can't find anything in the manual that could help me.

    Hello,
    Is your phone connected to a box?
    If so, reset it.
    To do this, cut its power supply for a minute and then turn it back on.
