Hello, yesterday I created an administrator account (without a password) on my laptop. I already had a user account with a password. When I turned off and then turned on my PC, I found myself directly on the new desktop of the administrator account. The PC didn't offer me the option to choose between the two accounts to log in! How can I retrieve the existing user account, please ??

Hi, Like this: On your keyboard: Windows key + R type netplwiz at the top check the option "users must press CTRL+ALT... etc". Ok and restart the PC.

Thank you so much. Will I be able to retrieve my user account as before with the same password, favorites, and folders? So, I will delete this new administrator account and continue with the other one, even though it sometimes asks me for administrator rights. Which I am!!
Is this a good thing in your opinion??

The problem is that you don’t have User at the bottom left to choose another user, right?

If so: can you provide a photo of the page where you need to enter the password?

For your information, as soon as I turn on the PC, I have the traditional homepage with "Administrator" written in large and then I arrive at the desktop without having to enter a password (by my own choice).

If you go back to netplwiz and uncheck the option at the top CTRL+ALT etc
you click OK
go back to netplwiz and check it again.

Does it change anything at startup? In the bottom left, do you not have the option to choose between administrator or user?

After the reboot, I was given the choice between Administrator or User. I clicked on User and then entered my password, and I arrived at the desktop of my usual account!
