EBP Building Management Pro Launch

Hello,
I have installed the EBP software on my computer, but when I try to launch it, I get the following message:
Unable to extract temporary files from Microsoft SQL Server Express 2014 SP1 (x64) installation. hashtag1001.
"Please free up some space on your boot drive and try again.
EBP Gestion Bâtiment 2019 11.0 setup cannot continue."

I have cleared up space on my computer (a lot!!) but nothing works.

I called EBP and they asked me to discuss this with my IT technician...

I would appreciate any help, please!

Thank you :)

Sabrina.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 76.0.3809.100

The MS SQL server will take up about 30GB (including EBP files) on your hard drive. Make sure you have at least double that available during installation...
Also, install the software as an administrator.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
What do you mean by "installing the software as an administrator"?
It seems to me that my available storage capacity is sufficient. Is this indeed the space on Drive (D)? I have 951GB free...

When you turn on your computer, you have several modes: User mode or Administrator mode...
Try installing in Administrator mode...
To modify accounts: control panel/user accounts... you will be able to know the level of the current user...

Thank you for your response once again. Unfortunately, when I turn on the computer, I don't have that mode option. It is the work laptop.
Is there another method I could use?...???? I don't want to take any risks with a computer that isn't mine...

Have a nice day!

Sabrina.

It's a problem with Windows, not with the EBP software...
The message says that you do not have enough space on the boot partition... On a laptop (and depending on the OS), there may be a protected partition just for the system boot... Maybe the problem comes from there...
Since this is about SQL, please post your problem in this section of the forum: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/sql-server-137
There might be someone better informed than me about installing SQL Server...
