Hello,
I have major slow performance issues with EBP Gestion Commerciale Pro v14 on a 5-workstation network.
It was slow but still manageable with v11, but with v14 I have delays of 10 minutes before generating a list.
I was wondering if you have ever experienced slow performance issues and what solutions you have used.
Network with dedicated server under Pervasive SQL 8.6, databases larger than 2 GB (large database?)
I contacted EBP's technical support, but I haven't received a conclusive response.
Thank you in advance

Same: EBP V14 2 workstations, 4GB of RAM, all PCs with Core 2 Duo, Gigabit network in CAT6 and it's very slow on the network workstation.
Not to mention the stock delays in V14, "Upgrade to V15 to fix," they say, but what new bugs will there be?

Hello and thank you for the help
Windows 2003 Std Server, XP Pro Clients (8 PCs) Ethernet Network 100
Migration from V11 to V14, mid-March 2010. Since then, the slowness is catastrophic during a query.
Example: Printing, Stock, Stock movements on 2 items (over 10 minutes)
On the server Pervasive engine installed, on Client Pervasive client installed.
Size of my database: 200 MB (zip)
The EBP technical service does not offer a solution...
What to do...
PS: After reorganization and recalculation, the problem remains the same.

What is your server, your client stations, and your network???
You should know that version 14 is much more resource-intensive than version 11, and download the latest version 14; they've made corrections to the appearance of lists like the articles.

Your client PCs are on Win XP, but how much RAM do they have and have you tested locally to see if you experience the same issue?
Server and PC with 2 GB RAM
Locally on the server, a little faster, but insufficient...
Is it possible to modify the Pervasive Server or client engine settings?
The other network applications are working perfectly.

You cannot modify the parameters of Pervasive client/server or Pervasive Workgroup
if the database is 200 MB zipped, it must be even larger on the server; can't you create a new folder and copy the data from a certain date to lighten the database???
