Hello,

I am completely stuck when I turn on my laptop (Acer Aspire E15). The Acer logo appears and after a while, it disappears from the screen and it says checking media (fail). When I try the technique of turning on my PC while pressing F2, nothing happens. So, I am completely stuck. Please help me.

    checking media fail indicates that the hard drive is dead.

      Thank you for your response, but does that mean I can't do anything to help my PC? And what caused it to become out of order?

      There are plenty of possible reasons, shock, age, factory defect, etc.
      You just need to buy a new hard drive.

      Since it's a laptop, unplug everything, USB key, mouse, etc., and reboot to see.
