Hello, thank you very much for the time you are taking to try to help me.
I have a problem with Windows Explorer, I can't do anything at all, whether it's opening File Explorer or trying to search for an application with the Windows search tool.
An error message appears (see screen)

"---------------------------
explorer.exe - Application Error
---------------------------
The instruction at 0x00007FFF71A01320 references memory address 0x0000000000000000. The memory state cannot be read.

Click OK to terminate the program.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
"
Furthermore, since I've had this error, my PC is behaving strangely and I feel like I've opened the wrong software, but that's not the issue here.

    Hello,

Your Windows 10 is not up to date.

    1) Go to Control Panel
    then Programs and Features.
    Uninstall:

    CCleaner (not useful)
    iCloud
    Java
Spybot - Search & Destroy (useless and ineffective)
    WebStorage
    ZoneAlarm Antivirus

    2) Disable/Delete from startup:
    [Aimersoft Helper Compact.exe]
    Discord
    Gitter
    gameboosthd
    [KeepVidProUpdateHelper.exe]

See: how to remove a startup program in Windows

    3)

    Repair Google Chrome (first paragraph)

Follow the paragraph Limit_the_Impact_of_Websites on the page How to Speed Up Google Chrome
Install uBlock and The Great Suspender

    ~~

Check the health status of your RAM sticks:
    - memtest: check RAM stick (malekal.com)
    - memtest: check RAM stick (CCM)

Hi, thank you very much for your reply.
I did everything, but for the first point, I couldn't uninstall the software because I can't access the control panel (it crashes directly and I get an error message).
Otherwise, I didn't quite understand, is my Windows 10 not up to date and is that what's causing the problem? I thought I had the latest version according to the Windows 10 upgrade assistant...

        Go into Safe Mode:

        and/or,

Manually install the Windows 1903 update using the Update Assistant or Media Creation tool.
        Follow these step-by-step tutorials:

Hello, I tried to update using the assistant without safe mode and it didn’t work (the program crashes directly and I get an error message saying that my explorer.exe is not working).
So I restarted my PC in safe mode with networking support, I can launch the update assistant but it tells me that I need the internet to do it and shows me a message to perform a network diagnostic, and when I do it, it indicates that I am in safe mode and therefore I do not have internet access (I don’t understand since I started it with networking support).
I don’t want to ask too much, so I will try to find a solution myself but thank you very much for your help^^, I know I need to upgrade to version 1903.

    Hello.

It's right there in one of the first lines of the report >>>

Platform: Windows 10 Home Version 1803 17134.885 (X64) Language: French (France)

Type winver in the search and you'll get confirmation. (previous version 1809 - current 1903)

Now, given this serious bug >>>

because I can't access the control panel (it crashes directly and I get the error message).

Plus the explorer issue, I'm afraid that the upgrade to version 1903 is going to be a failure.
As for the error code, we can't decipher it because your photo is too small and when enlarged, it becomes illegible. There is in Windows (via Accessories) the "snipping tool" that allows you to take a much clearer picture. But given the bugs with this PC, I’m not sure you’ll manage to do that.

    See you later...

Hello, yes I am aware of the screenshot tool, I usually use Lightshot but I cannot access it.
Otherwise, I copied the error code just below the screen so the resolution doesn't really matter.
I will try to upgrade Windows when I get home, thank you for your help!

      super =)

Once you have reinstalled everything and it works,

I invite you to create a system image now that you have a stable Windows.
=> How to create a Windows system image
      => create a system image
This system image can be restored at any time, including Windows, updates, and installed programs.
Very useful for easily restoring Windows when everything crashes.

So if you need to reinstall Windows, you can restore your image, which saves you from having to reinstall all the tedious updates, software applications, and programs.

    Hello.

Thank you for your feedback. . . A little advice for the road if you accept it: Reactivate system restore and create a manual system recovery point. Furthermore; create a system image on an external hard drive. This saves the day during a serious bug (like the one you experienced), or in case of a fatal crash of the internal hard drive.

    Best of luck . . . Bye

Good evening. Your discussion dates back to 2019, but I will still try to ask my question hoping for a response. So I have exactly the same problem, I can't do anything either, I can't go anywhere, nothing works, I get the same error message, plus a black screen that appears every 15 seconds, I would say, with the desktop disappearing, and I must admit that I did not understand the manipulations to be done???????????? Is it possible to explain it to me? Thank you in advance. Best regards.
