Hello,
I’m taking my chance and to be honest I’m a bit desperate, it’s been several years since my tablet stopped working, I’ve already been to several forums to try the proposed solutions but none have worked and since my tablet is a bit old, no one is posting solutions anymore.
Actually, the Wi-Fi on/off button is grey and it won’t activate, and it says "Activating Wi-Fi".
I have already tried:
Resetting it
Doing the program: wipe data/factory reset
and then reboot system now
If someone can help me, that would be really great!
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 12.1.1

Hello,
This model must be 7 or 8 years old and was not really known for its performance... In my opinion, there's no point in insisting on it: even if you manage to reconnect it, you'll realize that it has lost a lot of its charm...

The urgent is done, the impossible is underway. For miracles, provide for a delay...

Yes, I have no issues with the Wi-Fi, that's it, all my other devices were able to connect without problems.
The brand of the box is Bouygues and the provider is also Bouygues, I believe.
I am well within a meter of my box and the Wi-Fi light is on.
No, I haven't activated battery saving mode.
Yes, it worked perfectly for 2 years and suddenly the Wi-Fi stopped working.
Sorry, I tried to answer as many questions as possible, but there are some that I don't know, thank you for your help.

For @Margaux2111
Here is a reflection from @BrunoCS that is not without interest...!!! you can think about it..
That said, if despite everything, you want to continue this approach, just a little longer, I am willing to help you for a while... But it’s you who makes the decision to continue or not... so you share your choice..??

Well, we will try the "Recovery" operation without going through the tablet menus...
Battery charged to 100% and/or plugged into the charger but powered off.
If there is a memory card, it is better to remove it...
So, first phase... The tablet is really off.
Press Volume Down + Power simultaneously
Once the tablet vibrates, release the Power button and continue holding down the Volume Down
The tablet will vibrate a second time and then you release the Volume Down and immediately press Volume Up
As soon as there is text on the screen, you release Volume Up.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The screen shows this: or something similar...
reboot system now
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
fastboot mode
You navigate with the Volume Up or Down button.
----------------------------------------------------
I recommend choosing "Wipe data/Factory reset" to confirm the operation, briefly press the "Power" button (to turn it on)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Display
Wipe data/Factory reset confirmed
Android system recovery
confirm wipe of all user data?
THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE
No
No
No
No
No
No
No
Yes --delete all user data
No
No
No
----------------------------------------------------
This is what to do: afterwards
Select "Yes" and confirm
Select "reboot system now" and the tablet will restart
That is to say, you will lose any data on it as well as the apps!
It's a hard reset, so the tablet will be like new afterwards.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's done, it's back to the way it was on the day of purchase... neither better nor worse...
And now, go back to your menus to see if you can enable the wifi...
There you go, I'll let you operate... do not stop or unplug while an operation is in progress... Some can sometimes take a while... Patience. And come back to say where it stands.

Ah.. I'm really sorry, I believed in it... it seems that the WIFI module is dead on this tablet... and in that case, it's a no-win situation at minimal cost...
Moreover, this module can be replaced for a few euros on PCs... Whereas on tablets, it's part of the motherboard... which would need to be changed entirely... that's becoming excessive..
One must also say, we don't win every time..

Good evening
Very slim hope, if you can plug a USB stick into it, which I doubt, you can connect it to Wi-Fi via that stick. It’s that stick that will serve as the Wi-Fi instead of your tablet. It's a faint hope, but it might be worth a try. Also, we should check via Bluetooth. I could be wrong too.

Good evening,
You need to be connected to the internet... through a BOX that is equipped with Wi-Fi, that is the primary condition.
Resetting and all the fuss won't help... you only need to focus on the Wi-Fi connection.
In the main panel, go to Settings (the one with the three sliders) ===> Wi-Fi === Yes (button on the right.)
You should stand about a meter away from your BOX... by the way, which BOX do you have...? also, what model...?
Click on the Wi-Fi line... Normally, you will go to the page of available networks that are displayed... There should be two or three names that correspond to your BOX's Wi-Fi... You might recognize them..??
Press the "WPS" button on your BOX for 5 seconds and carefully look at the names displayed; there should be one that shows "Connected," it might be a bit slow, let's say you have 10 minutes to connect to the BOX.
After that, your tablet is connected, you can move around the house, up to 10 meters from the BOX, everything should work... for example, in the Google bar, type "Le Figaro," it displays the search results; then on the page, click on "Le Figaro"... Wait a little and the first page of Le Figaro will display.
That's how it works.

Oh yes, it's different... it means that the Wi-Fi refuses to go active...
Are you sure you have Wi-Fi at home..?? Because you didn't answer the questions asked..??
What is your BOX.. brand and model..?? What is your internet service provider..?
Are you one meter away from the BOX..?? Is the Wi-Fi light on the BOX..??
Could it be that you have enabled battery-saving settings that disable the Wi-Fi (to save power)..??
But I think this tablet is suffering from some games that were updated and then removed... etc... Has it ever worked in your hands..??
Beyond the questions I asked, I expect the answers and I will suggest a more technical manipulation that requires all your concentration to restart this tablet in a special mode.. In the hope of restoring your Wi-Fi... tomorrow.
