Hello to you,

First of all, I have a controller only for PC that connects via cable. I was playing a game when suddenly my PC told me that a USB device was not recognized and the controller mode in my game was interrupted.

When I go to my device manager, it says: unknown USB device (descriptor request failed)

I tried plugging it into my other USB ports but it still doesn’t work, and they are not dead since my mouse works. I tried restarting the PC but that didn’t help. I don’t think the controller is defective since it's only a few months old and I was using it when this happened suddenly. Moreover, I can assure you that they are tough to kill because the previous one I owned still works even though I broke the left side; I just don’t use it anymore because of a displaced joystick.

I also want to emphasize that it has never fallen and made no strange noises or anything.

Can you help me? This is really important to me.

re

right-click on the device I’ve outlined >> uninstall

then click on ACTION in the menu bar >> scan for hardware changes, and let me know what happens

if nothing changes, give me the device ID >> https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/35597-trouver-le-numero-d-identification-d-un-peripherique

It hasn't changed anything for me, is there no other way?
