Unable to start Windows after SSD change

Hello,
My PC (from 2012, a Samsung 530U) was showing signs of aging and started crashing at Windows startup.
I suspected a problem with the hard drive (original HDD) because of issues when checking Windows files. I also ran a scan of the HDD from another PC using CrystalDiskInfo and another hard drive scanning software --> failing hard drive, with many bad sectors (200, I believe). I read online that it would soon be out of order.

I then bought a 480GB SSD (Crucial BX500). After installing it in the PC, I installed Windows 7 from a bootable USB stick onto the SSD; the installation went well until the PC restarted (to finalize the installation), but it just returned to the initial Windows installation page, and the process keeps repeating in a loop. I read on the forum that I should remove the USB stick just before it restarts (so that the boot happens from the SSD), which I did: Problem --> the PC doesn't start and stays on the loading page with the Samsung logo indefinitely.
I've tried the process several times; I don't know where the problem lies. (I also tried the procedure with Windows 10, same issue)

I have a cable to connect the SSD to my second PC via USB.

If you have any solutions, thank you.

    Hello
    did you uninstall the HDD?
you need to leave only the SSD connected
otherwise, go into the BIOS to check if the SSD is recognized and also to see the BOOT sequence

Put the SSD first in the boot sequence.

When that happens, it doesn't change anything; the loading stays stuck and nothing starts.
