Utorrent 2.2.1 error message and inactive torrents

Hello, after a Windows update, I believe, all my torrents on Utorrent 2.2.1 say: error: unable to open the .torrent file.
Thank you all in advance for trying to solve my problem, and what's strange is that I can open all the torrents, so I don't know enough to resolve what happened! In fact, the torrents are inactive, no sharing, but I can open them and my download folder is still the same! Something changed today, 06/25/2019, but I have no idea how to fix it and I know your amazing team will be able to guide me like you did some time ago for another issue.     it's possible that the update messed up the default applications by file type

    check in "all settings" "applications"...

      Thank you, but since I don't know how to choose the file types, which ones correspond to Utorrent especially. In my settings, I have Utorrent for .torrent files, do I need to select others? Otherwise, I just downloaded a torrent that has been shared today, strange!? But those from yesterday remain inactive in sharing only! What should I do or should I just leave it like that?
