Hello everyone, while cleaning my Asus laptop charger (a non-original charger but bought new and also from the Asus brand), I noticed that the paper towel had turquoise blue marks… In fact, it's from the plug (made of plastic/rubber) that is inserted into the computer that this "liquid" comes from. It's between the tip of the rubber plug and the base of the "metal rod" (which goes into the computer's port) that this "liquid" is located. It's not really liquid; it doesn't flow, but when I use a paper towel, it leaves significant turquoise marks… You can see that it "oozes" a bit… Could someone tell me what this is (maybe glue melting due to heat??) and if there is any risk?? Thanks in advance. Best regards.

Hi,
A PCB that gets hot and oozes while melting or oxidizing...
I've already experienced this with Samsung smartphone chargers, where over time and with use, they would end up leaking to the point that the white cable turned turquoise-green.
