Hello,
I currently have a QNAP NAS that I use for storing movies and other videos. I have installed Kodi on several Raspberry Pis at home, and I would like to access the files on my NAS through the Kodi interface.
I saw that it was possible to add a QNAP add-on, but an xbmc.gui 5.12.0 dependency error occurs when installing the second zip. I don't see how to solve this problem.
If anyone has an idea :)
Thank you!

Hello

I don't have a raspberry pi with kodi, but the askers on this forum provide clear answers on this topic

Two main solutions emerge:
- update the kodi repository:
Go into System->Addons->Install from Repository, Highlight Kodi Add-on repository and use the context menu or sidebar to choose Check for updates. This will force a refresh of the repository.

If it was unable to contact the Kodi servers it may have still been caching the Isengard version of the Repository.

- modify the dependencies of the QNAP extension:
If the skin is not updated to Jarvis. You can edit the addon.xml file inside the skin folder and change the line xbmc GUI to 5.10.0.

This will make it work on Jarvis but any Jarvis features won’t work on the skin. Eg. Event logging and skin image resources. Browsing the library and GUI should be fine though.

Version 5.10 being the topic of the day in 2016, I think that updating the repo should do the trick.
