Hello,

A few days ago, the screen of my Acer laptop stopped working. Until today, I was using my PC by connecting it to a screen via HDMI.
The problem is that today, while trying to fix my screen, I disabled the Intel HD 4000 graphics card via the device manager, and now even the screen connected via HDMI isn't displaying anything.

How can I reactivate the graphics card without being able to see anything?
I tried to access the BIOS without success since even in the BIOS both screens (the laptop one and the one connected via HDMI) remain black.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,

If you have Windows 10, restart the PC 3 times in a row to launch the troubleshooting options. Then, try a system restore or the System Restart Tool option.

If you have Windows 7, press the F8 key on the keyboard, or use a Windows 7 DVD if you have one and boot from it.

Best regards.

Thank you for your response,
I have already tried to access this startup screen, but the screen on my PC and the screen connected via HDMI remain black. Therefore, I cannot perform any operations since I can't see anything.

Remove the laptop battery, then press and hold the Power button on the laptop for 15 seconds to drain any residual electricity. Plug the power cord into the laptop and try to turn it on.
