    Above all, do not pay.

    Then if you have backups of your files on an external drive, great, but if not, buy another PC and start over, making sure to protect this PC against ransomware.
    Install a paid version of Avast as it will protect your PC against all types of ransomware.

    Hello,

    Windows has been infected by a ransomware file-encrypting malware. These ransomware programs are mainly caught by opening a malicious attachment in an email or by visiting a compromised web page via web exploits.

    At the moment, there is not really a method to recover the encrypted documents. If the data is very important, store it temporarily in a safe place because maybe there will be a solution in the future to recover them. You can still try the previously mentioned versions with Shadow Explorer. Keep the files for a few months and monitor this page for any future solution and a tool that allows recovering the files: List of DecryptTools for ransomware.

    First, make sure no threat is still active. As a precaution, also think about changing all your passwords.

    1°) FRST
    Follow the FRST tutorial. (take the time to read carefully – everything is explained well).

    Download and run the FRST scan; 3 FRST reports will be generated:
    - FRST.txt
    - Shortcut.txt
    - Additionnal.txt

    Upload these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return give me the 3 pjjoint links that point to the reports here in a new reply so we can review them.
