Hello, I would like to have a good start between A and C, which are quite distant. Would putting a CPL halfway in B help by acting as a sort of "relay" or not?

Hi,
no, not at all, on the contrary.
By multiplying the powerline networks on the same electrical installation, you reduce the usable spectrum for each as they will interfere with each other.
For it to be feasible, there would need to be two separate electrical networks and two powerline modems back-to-back in the middle connected by an Ethernet cable, so in total 4 powerline modems and two different electrical networks.
If you want a real Ethernet speed, it's better to run a direct cable from one end to the other.
