Adblock blocking on Vista

Hello,

I just experienced the deactivation of Adblock by Firefox,
I tried to install hotfix-update-xpi-intermediate with this link
https://strak.ch/firefox-retablir-les-extensions-quickfix/
This addon does appear in the list of addons, but
Adblock remains deactivated even after restarting the machine
I am on Vista (Firefox is not updated anymore on Vista....)
Is there a solution?

    Hello,

    Indeed, you can no longer update Firefox with Vista, which would have resolved the issue.

    If it's just one extension (adblock):
    Try installing uBlock instead of adblock.

    Uninstall and then remove the adblock extension.

    Otherwise, you would need to revert to a previous version of 52.9 ESR.
    See if you can uninstall and then reinstall 52.9 ESR if that's indeed the one you have.
