SMTP Blocking?

Hello, in the sections of my Crystal Free Box there is "outgoing SMTP blocking". What is it for and what should I do? Block or not? Thank you.

    Hello,
    If you activate it, you will no longer be able to send emails. Don't bother with these settings if your box is working; don't touch anything.

      Ok thanks, I'm an old curious jack-of-all-trades and it causes me problems. Thanks to you, one big one less.

      Hello,

      More precisely, this blocks the sending of emails from third-party SMTPs. This means that on the Freebox, you can still send emails with a Free account, but not with a Gmail, Yahoo, ... account.
