Hello everyone, I have a problem with my PC. I was watching my series for at least 2 hours and then my PC just shuts down. I try to turn it back on and the following message appears:
Warning: main bios checksum error!
Retrieving recovery source from hpa.... wpa bios not available!!
Retrieving recovery source from Backup Bios.... done!
Writing bios image ..... 720k Ok (it goes up and once the operation is complete, my PC shuts down)
Does anyone have a solution or could someone please help me? Thank you very much.

Hello
is your motherboard a Gigabyte?
if so, here’s a solution:
I managed to fix the problem. To start > I unplugged the power supply > turned off the power switch on the PSU > removed the CMOS battery and all unnecessary peripherals (remove anything your PC doesn't need to boot. This includes card readers, etc.) > unplugged all my hard drives > removed all my RAM modules > removed all input devices except the keyboard.
Wait a bit for the CMOS to reset, then put the battery back. Start the machine, then enter the BIOS settings and run Q-FLASH F8 (depending on your BIOS version).
From there, I updated the BIOS to the latest version for my MOBO that I downloaded onto my flash drive. I then disabled "Load CMOS Default", then rebooted. That seemed to fix the problem. It then stopped looping and gave me the screen saying it detected there is no operating system disk to boot from.
I then put back all my peripherals and components and rebooted it again. I hope this helps you!
