Hello,
I accidentally deleted all the items from my playlist in Safari (not in iTunes). I want to restore this list, but I don't know how to do it. The items are not in the trash. So I think they must still be on my computer, but where?
Please, I'm far from being a pro, so clear and precise explanations would be welcome.
Thanks in advance
I have a Mac mini
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 11.1.2

Hello,
There isn't a "stored" playlist anywhere on the Mac. Playlists are web addresses saved in the "Bookmarks.plist" file located in the Safari folder of the user's Library on the Mac.
And once the items from that list have been deleted, nothing can be restored since the file containing those addresses is updated in real-time.
Best regards.

Always provide your complete system configuration - exact model of computer, exact OS version.

Thank you again!
I'm getting back to you on this topic because I'm in the same situation as Boun, except that I made backups using Time Machine. But the problem is that when I restore the bookmarks.plist file, I launch Safari and I find all the elements from my reading list in Safari, but my joy lasts only a few seconds and suddenly the entire reading list disappears!! Very strange, right? I'm left with an empty reading list like before
Can you help me? Best regards, Denis
