Hello,
I just changed my old MacBook Pro for an iMac running Sierra. I managed to export my Safari bookmarks and import them on the iMac, but I can’t export my reading list. I can’t use iCloud since the MBP's system is too old and I don’t have access to it. Is it possible to export this list, or are all my addresses lost?
Configuration: MacBook Pro 10.9 / Safari 9.1.3 & iMac 10.13.1

Hello,
You can use Google Chrome as an intermediary (recipe found HERE)
1. On the old Mac, try using the latest version of Google Chrome to import items from Safari. Chrome places links from its reading list in a folder named com.apple.ReadingList.
2. Export your Chrome bookmarks to a file on your iMac
(see https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/96816?hl=fr )
3. Transfer the obtained file to the new Mac, and import it into the new Mac's Safari by using the menu option "Safari-> File-> Import Bookmarks."
4. Delete anything you don't want to import into Safari except for the "Reading List" folder.
Hoping this works,
Ritchi

I struggled a bit to find the famous com.apple.ReadingList file, the instructions are quite poorly explained in the link you gave me, but after digging a little in the Chrome bookmarks manager, I finally figured out how to export my reading list. All I had left to do was import it to the new computer. Thanks for your help!
Great that you made it! All you need to do now is write a more detailed procedure so that the next person in your situation doesn’t struggle too much.
