The origin of the charge is certainly from that side..

Profiles Partner probably acts as a payment platform (= intermediary to cover up the traces..) for the benefit of Moolineo, which is going to charge you every month €43..

You need to 'unsubscribe' by going back to that crappy site Moolineo..

NEVER give your credit card information online!! Always use a Virtual Card (One-time use..).

No, I only provided my email address to Moolineo, so it wasn't Moolineo that charged me but Profile Partner instead. Generally, Moolineo is a serious site, but some offers seem to be scams and I didn't pay enough attention.

I contacted Profile Partners by email to ask for explanations and a refund if possible; I am waiting for their response.

Yes, I filled in my bank details on the site that Moolineo redirected me to, but not on Moolineo. And anyway, Moolineo never charges anyone; I haven't even given my bank details to Moolineo.
I just spoke with Profile Partner Finances on the phone and it's not them because they do not charge their clients in any case.

I'll try to contact SmartDigital Technology as you suggested and I'll let you know.

This doesn't match what you wrote in your initial message.

Given the confusing situation, I think the best thing to do is to contact your bank:
- to find out who has direct debit authorizations
- and to revoke the authorizations that you believe you did not give.

This will allow you to know who is really behind the €43 debit and whether it is truly unjustified or if there is an explanation.

Yes, there seems to be a misunderstanding, I believe. The name of my payment is Profile Partner Fréjus, so I tried calling all the companies I found with a similar name, and Profile Partner Finances told me it wasn't them.

Yes, anyway I need to go see my bank this morning for my phone, so I will take the opportunity to ask them.

Thank you for your two responses, and recently I have not given my bank details to anyone, much less for a trip or insurance or anything like that, so that's what I can't understand.

Only one or two weeks before my deduction, I went to the remuneration site called Moolineo (you may know it) and I filled out an offer that was a lottery, and I provided my bank details and I was charged 2€ (I was aware of that so it's normal) but two weeks later I had another charge of 43€ (I had never heard of Profiles Partner Fréjus).

Moolineo is originally a reliable site based on its reputation and the reviews and comments found about it, so I trusted it, but maybe I shouldn't have?!

Do you think this site scammed me? Thank you for your time and your valuable help.

The link with Moolineo is not obvious.
What is certain is that Profiles Partner has your complete bank details (the ones found on a bank statement) to make a direct debit; it's not like a payment by credit card.

Profiles Partner seems to be a serious company.
The best course of action is therefore to approach things logically: Start by contacting them for information.

I was also surprised to see a worrying deduction from profiles Partner 83600 Fréjus when I returned to Belgium...!! Upon checking my bank statements... the same goes for the benefit of 208 euros from CAP Coustelet... that's an expensive holiday!!!!!
