Hello, I just had the same issue. The SARL Microsoft Luxembourg made a request for payment from my PayPal account without my intervention. I also filed a complaint and I'm waiting!

There is an authorization, look in the transactions there is a file of authorized transactions, personally it made me angry. I canceled the authorization and asked Microsoft Luxembourg S.à.r.l. for a refund.

Idem !! The scam is well done. I made several purchases in 4 days for small amounts between €10 and €15, and in the middle discreetly bam €13.98, didn't see it coming, I'm confused. I've made a complaint and changed my code.

Paypal just told me they are refunding the amount that was wrongly charged, which poses a problem for me; how could a payment have been made without my knowledge?

I am now asking myself the following question, should I continue to trust Paypal, even though I found it very convenient?

From your PayPal account, you can set up the "notifications" sent by email from PayPal (to alert you of a payment made, for example).

To add to what was said by crocodile, someone must have your PayPal password; otherwise, it's impossible to make a purchase!

Here is why I changed my password immediately. For your information, after some research, it's a subscription I had for one of my grandsons, but the payment was made by bank card every month, and since my card has been changed in the meantime, the company took the money from my PayPal account. But what I don't agree with is that this payment was made without my consent; I don't understand that.

So, it's not a scam, but a malfunction!!!!

Hello, and I confirm the scam.
I experienced the same thing yesterday with a debit of 19.99 euros via Microsoft Luxembourg.
Reported to PayPal, who seem a little light and timid in their responses, basically "sort it out yourself."
I'm waiting for your follow-up on the matter.

Hello, same scam through Microsoft Luxembourg Sarl for an amount of 99 euros and Paypal did not find my case valid, fortunately my bank did.

Hello gentlemen,
Like you, I have been a victim of this hacking.
Someone hacked my "ultra-secure..." PayPal account and purchased games totaling 1000 euros, nonetheless.
My bank, for which I am not the least bit of a bad client, fully refunded me
but I think it may not be the case for everyone.
In the purchases, I see several from Microsoft Luxembourg SARL.
I sent an email to a number of purchase suppliers who responded and provided me with the IP addresses of my hackers, which are two.
I sent a message to Microsoft Luxembourg SARL. A limited liability company for Microsoft is a bit funny; limited liability companies are more for merchants or artisans with little capital. As of today, I still don't have a response, but I will not give up easily.
Does anyone have any information about this LLC?

Hello, the same applies, for small amounts of course 1.29 and 1.49€, but I don’t agree, it remains a scam and theft, so I reported it to PayPal and I also deleted my credit card from the PayPal payment method, do the same, PayPal will no longer be able to charge the card or bank account.

I also filed a dispute for the same amount and received the same response from PayPal.

What I realized is that one can create direct debit authorizations without even being aware of it.

The price corresponds to a one-year subscription to Microsoft Gold for Xbox, so I assume that's what it is. I will still send an email to Microsoft to verify.

Same for me, my account was debited 7 euros. I filed a complaint with PayPal, and they replied that a direct debit authorization was set up beforehand when I registered on the Microsoft Luxembourg S.à r.l. online store on February 25, 2013. I never authorized this direct debit. PayPal has canceled the direct debit but cannot refund me.
