I want to update the software of my U55S7606DS TV. When I download the software from the TCL website, I only get a pkg file and a pdf notice inside
Can someone tell me how to download the software

    In general, no software is needed, just a file and a USB drive, and by following the instructions in the television's manual (or the PDF?), it is through the TV that we will read the update file.

    Hello, if your TV model is a promotional TV, a loss leader, it is not affected by the manufacturer's update but only concerns the retailer that sold you this model manufactured specifically for this promotion. Therefore, it is impossible to update it with a file from the manufacturer; they are two almost identical models but the reference probably has one additional letter.
