I am the manager of the company ............, which is engaged in online sales .................................
As such, I use your Colissimo and Lettre Suivie products which I affix postage for on the poste.fr website
Client Pro No: ..........................
I drop off at the post offices of:
.............................................................
On ../../.. I shipped an envelope, which I affixed postage for as Lettre Suivie No ................... and dropped off at the post office of ...........................
The next day, when I checked, my tracking was not yet available, and it is still not available today,
the letter seems to be lost.
What surprised me is that the departure scan was not indicated either.
When I went to the post office in ......., I was told that for the past two years (while until now my tracked shipments were scanned at the time of drop-off at the post office), they no longer scan the tracked letters at drop-off, only upon arrival, and indeed customers have complained
and I was also told that if I’m not happy, I can take my business elsewhere.
This poses two problems for me:
First, a technical problem which means that without a departure scan, I have no proof that I have actually shipped the item, and the primary consequence of this is that eBay and Amazon, with whom I work, consider that I have not shipped, and consequently reimburse the customer.
In parentheses, I therefore lose the item, the shipping cost, and the platforms impose penalties and negative ratings on me.
The second consequence is that the claim is impossible since when I call the post office service, I am told that the shipment does not exist and I have no claim number to provide to the postal mediator if needed.
You understand that I am at the mercy of a loss or theft within your services
absolutely without any recourse, since this shipment has never existed.
The second problem is a legal one. Indeed, the product “Lettre suivie” is sold on your site as: I quote “A postal franking service that allows you to send a letter, an important document, or a small package and track its journey to the destination.”
So what I pay for when buying a Lettre Suivie is the tracking of each step of its delivery and not, as I was told, proof of its delivery.
Currently, the mail that I should be able to track from beginning to end travels obscurely and within random timeframes, when they are not simply lost...
I am therefore currently paying for a product that is not conforming to its description.
This is confirmed by the DGCCRF.
Today, I am reduced to demanding that my letters be scanned in my presence, as if it were frankly unreasonable to ask for this service that I have paid for.
I therefore ask you through this letter, on one hand, to do everything possible to locate the Lettre Suivie No ….................. which exists, and on the other hand, to inform me of the procedure to follow so that I can go to a post office and receive the service that has been paid for, all without me being considered a nuisance. "Since apparently this is a word that can be used"
