Initial setup Toshiba TV CT-8035
So I just bought a Toshiba TV, but for reasons unknown to me, it’s asking for a PIN code. There's nothing described in the manual except "follow the on-screen instructions," but the information given is: "PIN code. New PIN code. Confirm." I tried entering a random PIN code first, but it didn’t work, so I went online and was told to use 1276. I did that. Nothing.
Okay, I tried another one: 4725. Nothing. Alright, maybe it's something like 0000 or 8888. But no, that still doesn't work. There’s no error message, it just does nothing, and the only button that works is the "Back" button.

If this TV is new, there may be a malfunction as soon as it is turned on (bathtub curve), in which case return it to the seller.
