Video projector: How to project a Word file?

Hello,
And thank you for reading my request.
I have a Chinese Alfawise projector.
If I have chosen USB in its input selection, it's because the data to be read is on an SD card inserted into a USB adapter.
Once it's powered on, the projector then offers the selection: Cinema (video); Music (audio); Photo and Text.
On the SD card, there is a text file in .doc format (coming from Word).
If I select "Text", then from the root of the SD card, I try to access it, it doesn't even give me the chance to see the icon of that file and returns to the root of the SD card.
The manual is ridiculous and doesn't even mention the type of text documents that can be read. I would have thought that text files in .doc or .docs would be among the formats accepted by default.
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 64.0

Between your SD card and the video projector, what is there? A PC or Mac connected by cable (VGA or HDMI) to the video projector, for example? Because if you insert your SD card into a computer, and that computer into the video projector via a cable (mentioned above), you can either copy your file to the computer and project it, or try to project it directly from the SD card. On your video projector, you need to select the input mode: computer (via), HDMI, etc... Be careful, VGA does not transmit sound.
PS I don't know the connections on the Alfawise, I only know Epson.

Hello, I think I know the solution: your projector is a video projector, and in video projector, there is video, so if I continue my journey, you need to convert your Word files into JPEG photo files.

Thank you Glandu. Indeed, by converting my .doc file to PDF, or JPEG, or PNG, I manage to have them appear in the PHOTO category. It works, but it requires an additional intervention, hence time wasted.
A big thank you for the tip, it helps me a lot, but let's admit that it's silly to have a section supposedly dedicated to texts that seems unable to read a single one, even in an ultra-common format.
Thanks again,

The response from cnp 37 is also a lead, it involves transferring from the PC screen to the projector, and everything displayed on the screen will be on the projector using the Windows+P key.
