Hello,
I have a Golf 7.
While browsing through the menus, I saw that there were updates to be made (I should specify that I don't have navigation).
When I click on "update," it tells me: "no update medium detected ...".
I then went to the Volkswagen website to download the update utility, but the problem is that it offers me two versions of Discover: the Pro and the Media, and I don't know which one to choose.
When I look, it seems to be for downloading a map, so I'm not sure if that's it.
If someone could help me.
Best regards.

Hi, the firmware is the BIOS (system). It's different from the content you find on this system (the maps, etc.). If you don't have any specific bugs and everything works fine, you don't need to update the system. In any case, it will depend on the hardware installed in your vehicle.
