It's a connectivity issue; I suggest you check your connections. Try using a different headset or another jack, like the one for the microphone, then go to the notification bar and find "Realtek HD driver" or something like that, then right-click on the microphone jack and click on "Change function" (I don't remember exactly, but you can try without fear) and choose "Front speakers" then OK.
