Hello,
I tried to boost my graphics card with Afterburner, but if I go over 70 MHz for the CPU and 150 for the memory, I get crashes in Witcher 3.
I find this very strange given the values that some people manage to increase on a GTX 1060.
PNY France told me that the card is defective and that I need to return it while it's still under warranty.
What do you think?
Thank you

    Good evening,

Have you gradually increased the frequencies?

Yes, 10 at a time, but 75 for GPU and 150 for memory seems very limited to me.
For your information, I have an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with B450 Gaming Plus and 620W.

It's mainly the GPU frequency that should be increased... Isn't a +150 on the GPU and +120 on the memory doable?

No, if I exceed 70 it crashes, but it is already factory overclocked
Normally, you can do 150 on the GPU and 400 on the memory
According to the forum, the Nvidia generation 10 are not easy to overclock because of GPU Boost 2.0

Strange, afterwards you'll simply miss out on an extra 5 or 10% performance... If the performance suits you in-game, keep it!
My old graphics card, a 780ti, used to crash my computer because it couldn't handle its boost anymore, without overclocking...
It ran very well at -50 on the GPU.

Okay, the cards are all different from each other
It suits me very well in games, it's just that I wanted to stabilize it to its maximum.

After analysis, the expected boost at 1800 MHz on the specifications rises to 2000.
I set it up to have 2100 on the GPU and +700 on memory, and it works perfectly.

Lol perfect! It's true, you really need to pay attention to the actual values.
