Hello everyone

I downloaded MCL on the AppStore ...

When it starts, I see their logo ... then it completely shuts down!

My iPhone is on iOS 6.1 and they say the minimum is 6.0 ...

Does anyone know why ???

Thank you to let me know if you do!!!

Best regards

Old Tryphon

Hello,

Try each of these manipulations:

- Close and restart the application
- Restart the iPhone
- Uninstall and reinstall the application

Good evening,

All these manipulations have been done!!! But the result is the same:

the app downloads, installs, but when launched it quits immediately after the logo...

It would be necessary for MCL to keep the old app online, which should work as indicated by the camera box,

even if it means putting the new version on the same page for newcomers...

Otherwise, buyers who are careful and have an old iPhone with an iOS between 6.0 and 7 (or higher) will not be able to make them work!!!

There are still many of these (so-called old) cameras on the shelves of distributors...

It is a technical error not to have done this.

But it is becoming a commercial error that must be fixed!!!

Best regards

The director of MCL France told me to do something to get Apple to release the desired version online...
We'll see if that happens...

Thanks again for your quick response.

Well, Apple's reputation is taking a hit...
MCL asked them, but it's still not done!!!
I'm going to switch to a basic Android phone...
And give up on Apple!
They don't want to understand what backward compatibility is!!!
I wrote programs over thirty years ago, and they still work with the various emulators since then, on all platforms... that's useful and it doesn't force you to reinvent the wheel (hence: absence of planned obsolescence and development cost savings!!!) which must please them greatly!
There's also Micro...t which doesn't use the same syntax in each of its 'command mode' versions!!! it's the same thing!!!
Linux, Unix, AIX, HP UX, and others use basic C syntax and EVERYTHING is easily possible!!!
A year of fruitless negotiations due to disguised refusals...
unless Apple allows access to old apps on a dedicated server...
But DON'T DREAM!!!
