Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I don’t consider trivial.
I have a ZTE router shipped with fiber. I don’t have much choice of fiber provider in my village...
I set up a server. Everything is okay.
At home over Wi-Fi: This darn router only lets me connect to the server via the IP but not with the xxx.dyndns.org personal domain.
Whereas on 4G, on an external network Wi‑Fi or other, I can connect well to the xxx.dyndns.org personal domain.

I have this problem with both my server and my IP cameras.
I think the problem comes from the exotic router.

Do you have an idea?

    Hi,
    no, no router in the world is capable of routing its own address; with DynDNS, you have its own address.
    to access a local server, you must use its local network IP address, not the router's address.
    it can only work from an external connection, on a mobile network like you’re doing or via a VPN or of course another connection.
    So, in the end, your problem is very common :-)
