Hello,
My wife being hard of hearing, she needs an appropriate phone (very powerful sound amplifier).
I have a box on the first floor and a duo phone on the box.
My problem is connecting the device for the deaf on the ground floor, which is the main socket.
I tried without a filter, with a filter but it doesn't work (before installing the box it worked well).
It is true that before it was a France Télécom landline and now it's an unbundled line (I think that's the name).
How to proceed, as I really need to make the device work for my wife.

Hello,
There is nothing left on the disconnected telephone lines... a standard phone no longer works.
In my opinion, your device needs to be relocated, along with the phone, to the back of the BOX, where the telephone socket is... -

What are the references (brand and model) of this phone for the hearing impaired?
IF you are indeed on total unbundling... the phone must be connected to the box.

the problem (for me) is that the phone for hearing impaired MUST be on the ground floor while the box is on the first.
And I don't see how to run a cable from the top to the bottom.
What is the maximum cable length for an extension from the box to the phone?

Hello, it's a DORO phone that I bought from Audika. I still think I need to run a wire down to the ground floor. I need to put a double RJ11 at the output of the box because there's only one phone output and I think it should work.

What model is this Doro?
Depending on the model, we might be able to pair it with the duo that is connected to the box...
Another avenue to consider is how the phone sockets are wired; we might find a way without having to pull too many cables.

Observation...
If I read between the lines correctly... this DORO phone is a "Duo" phone (mentioned at the beginning), so it's a pair of so-called "cordless" phones... In other words, the base needs to be placed right behind the BOX and the other "cordless" phone in the lower room... just on the power socket. -
No... there is a duo (base on the floor) and another Doro... special for the hearing impaired...
We still need to find out if this Doro is a DECT or not... if so, we can pair it with the base of the DUO... -
I understand that it's a DUO from DORO... but well... and I see that it's quite difficult to obtain the model...
I was curious at Audika, there are only two amplified DUOs, the "PhoneEasy 110 Duo" and the "Amplidect 295 Combi" but is that really it...?? -

Ok, the Doro Secure 350 is purely wired.
The extension cable solution with a double RJ11 is worth considering.
However, do you have any idea how the telephone distribution is done in the house...
Where does the Orange cable arrive and the DTI (if it exists)? Is it on the upper floor?
If by any chance the arrival is on the upper floor and if the wiring of the sockets between upstairs and downstairs is done from the upper floor, we might be able to use the existing cable...

The box is plugged into a phone socket on the first floor.
I don't know how the distribution is set up. Before, there was a phone on the Orange line.
Now with this box (La Banque Mobile), everything is on the same contract.

The DTI is a junction box to which all telephone sockets in the home are connected. It generally has a test RJ45 socket or a T socket for older models.
But let's forget it; if the incoming line is on the ground floor, there’s no chance of having a usable connection between the ground floor and the upstairs.
So it remains to try the Doro with a RJ11 double socket upstairs.
If it works, I’ll need to run an extension cord.

It works but I have no ringtones. Only the ringtone of the "Gigaset duo" rings.

Is the ringer accidentally turned off? (crossed bell on display)
If you connect only the Doro to the box output, does it ring?
This phone has a light indicator to signal incoming calls that can be activated, does it work?

The ringtone is at maximum, and I tested it without the Gigaset Duo connection, and the light and ringtone do not work.
I have the impression that this Doro model is not designed to work with a box, but only with a basic phone line.- Not compatible... it is, who knows, possible, but it would still be necessary to check with Doro: https://www.doro.com/fr-fr/
But before... try again:
Doro connected to the box... reset the latter by cutting its power supply for 1 minute and test by making a call (dialing a number and receiving).

At Doro, it's "complete nonsense".
On the link, just the PDF that I already have and where there’s nothing for the technical side.
