Hello.

You must have seen this "ad" on Facebook.

The product is presented in French on the only site toptechshifts.com. If we try to gather information by consulting the terms of use of the site, we end up on a non-existent page. The same goes for the legal conditions.

The Amazon page selling the product has more bad reviews than good ones, and it is likely that the only good reviews are orchestrated by the product creator.

Finally, the lack of information (or the little available) raises suspicion...

And for good reason: it is probably a generic USB stick sold at double the price, likely provided with backup software like many others out there:

It is probably better to get a large 3.0 USB stick and use software like SyncBack or Cobian Backup.

doubtful product USB key does not work with a very common computer like Apple's MacBook Pro. We should be wary of these products touted by harassing advertising: obviously, the company based in the USA doesn't care about European law, particularly the right of withdrawal and the notion of hidden defects. So be careful and only buy similar European products if they exist.

Scam, it is impossible to save the photos contained in a desktop computer. It worked on the laptops, and when I tried again on the desktop, everything got stuck and the key no longer works at all, it is no longer recognized on either the laptops or the desktop. Furthermore, when you order it, the shipping costs are enormous, almost €15 + the €45 for the 64GB key, that's a lot!

It worked once, then it became a simple USB, which also caused my iMac to crash. Customer service "registers" the issue, provides a link that doesn't work, and then it's radio silence. This needs to be known on all sites and forums! I just posted about it on FB...

I bought this product believing in the miracle; in fact, the photos are impossible to sort chronologically and are completely disorganized on the photostick. If someone has a solution to properly organize the photos, I’m all ears; otherwise, it’s nothing more than a USB stick.

Otherwise, the system finally worked (after several attempts) and it saved all the photos from the different files on my hard drive. (64 GB model).

the photostick disaster
almost half of a good thousand photos saved on photostick suddenly became inaccessible. The file name remains with its .jpg suffix, but is accompanied by the following message: "it seems we do not support this file format"
(of course, I always eject my drives before unplugging them)

Are these files recoverable? impossible to find out on the web. Has anyone experienced this mishap, and does anyone know if it can be fixed?

I just received it. I strongly advise against it. First, I had to pay customs fees (20.77 euros) that were not expected (coming from the United States), and more seriously, the photostick does not store anything!!
Scam to be avoided.

I bought the 128 GB drive, I installed it to search for as many photos as possible and the result was disastrous. I found more photos when I did my search. Really disappointing. And watch out for the 30-day warranty. I ordered my drive in November but the delivery was delayed by customs. I went on a three-week trip abroad, when I returned from my trip I received a registered letter that I picked up the same day, it was my drive. I had to pay the $30.00 customs fee, I tried it immediately. I was disappointed, I wanted to return it but it was impossible because my 30 days had passed. They don't care about the date I picked it up, it's rather the shipping date from the company. I'm stuck with a drive that's not worth more than a USB stick.

I ordered a 64GB one, it cost me around 80 Canadian dollars including delivery and a 40% discount. The drive doesn't organize the photos and videos; they are all scattered. Plus, I see duplicates and copies under different names (which I renamed before). The other thing I still don't know is that it can't be formatted to move the photos and be reused multiple times. I do not recommend this product for the price it costs; it's better to go for external hard drives and make copies.

I bought two of these keys (the process of selling the second one is more than questionable). The small internal leaflet announces compatibility with Win XP. I dug up an old laptop equipped with this OS, the key loads like a USB drive but cannot be explored, the explorer sees nothing. Worse: a window opens asking to FORMAT the key! which would obviously erase the poor software contained inside. The ad including this Win XP compatibility is more than dubious; On another system under Win 7 the key worked at the cost of desperate slowness.
